Escape to Pu Luong Nature Reserve for a 2-day trip, exploring cascading rice terraces and hidden villages. Experience traditional bamboo river rafting and trek through scenic landscapes.
Depart Hanoi early morning for an approximately 5 hours driving to Pu Luong located about 180 km southwest of Hanoi. Transfer to Pu Luong by road via a breathtaking mountain pass with panoramic views of the whole valley. Arrive at the accommodation in time for a delicious lunch, followed by free time to explore the beautiful retreat, with its captivating panoramic views and tranquil setting.
Then, transfer to a suspension bridge over the Cham River and begin a easy trekking from 3 to 5km in search of stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes. Transferred back to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner on your own.
Start early for a descend into the beautiful valley facing the Retreat. Walk around tumbling rice terraces. Trek through small paths surrounded by vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Be sure to have a camera ready for amazing photo opportunities.
Continuing to the base of the valley, weaving between roads and farmland, villages and wild fields, ponds and rivers, mountains and open land. Savor the ever-changing scenery while trekking to a beautiful spot. Then be transferred back to Pu Luong Retreat for lunch. Check out the Lodge and back to Hanoi. Tour ends.
Depart Hanoi for a scenic 5-hour drive to Pu Luong, arriving at your accommodation for lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring the retreat and trekking to discover traditional water wheels.
